Neighborhood
Although its location makes Playa Hermosa feel somewhat isolated, the small but well-developed town offers many amenities. Playa Hermosa, which translates to Beautiful Beach, is located in northern Guanacaste Province. Keep in mind that Costa Rica has several beaches named Playa Hermosa, including near Jaco, Santa Teresa, and Uvita, but the one where this lovely home is located is in Guanacaste. The Liberia International is the closest airport, at about 30 minutes away.

The pool has a shallow entrance that is perfect for new moms and infants first getting acquainted to the water. There is also a lot of green space in the side yard to enjoy the sounds of nature.
Nature abounds, as Howler monkeys make an appearance in the tree canopies in nearby neighborhoods. The views will help create lifelong memories you and friends and family will cherish for a lifetime.
This magnificent, well-appointed, 5 bedroom-5.5 bathroom house in the gated community of Hermosa Heights, sleeps 12. Beautiful Hermosa Beach is spread out before you, which offers snorkeling, fishing, kayaking and surfing tours that leave right from the beach. Local adventure activities for the whole family, including zip-line canopy tours above the tropical forest, estuary excursions, horseback riding, volcanoes, hot springs and waterfalls are all within an hours drive. The BBQ Grill located poolside along with a well appointed outdoor dining set allow you to enjoy the best of dining alfresco, Should you wish to hire someone to prepare local delicacies in the gourmet kitchen or eat out at one of the many excellent restaurants in town or on the beach, feel free to contact our in-house concierge to assist with your culinary wishes. Our week in Casa Ilan Ilan was perfect. A few hiccups with check in (let me stress this was not Zindis fault), they had a storm the night before knocking out power to the area so we were delayed checking in. However, we were guided to a good spot for lunch and got access to our house that evening. The house is beautiful, Alex the house manager was VERY attentive to our needs. He really made it the perfect experience for us. We celebrated a 50th birthday with 4 couples and it was the perfect house for that purpose. It’s hot in July so the pool was a must, we loved it but brought our own floats and discovered on the last day that we actually didn’t need to, there are floats in the laundry room (oops). Plenty of beach towels in the downstairs master too! I HIGHLY recommend the private chef (ask for Jeffrey), he made the perfect breakfast AND Dinner. Perfect house, location and stay. One note: although walkable to grocery and more: The hill to the house is killer on the legs 😉

The Casa Ilan Ilan with its 5 bedrooms and comfortable beds was perfect for our 11 person family group. The maids left the house very clean and the house manager was very responsive to our needs with extra towels etc. There was ample space in the living/dining areas inside and out for family activities and gatherings. One thing we do recommend on the website is to indicate that the entrance road, while steep, is paved, and it is really not necessary to rent 4 wheel drive vehicles to access this hillside residence. Thank you ZINDIS for an enjoyable stay.

The house is exactly as advertised including pictures. The hosts were extremely responsive before, during, and after our visit. Hermosa Heights is a quiet and beautiful location. It is not a party community or town. If you are looking for a stress free and amazingly beautiful location which is close to the airport and party town (Coco), then this is your place.
