Neighborhood
The Neighborhood: Playa Hermosa is a small village with one of the safest and calmest beaches in Costa Rica. There you will find and ample amount of restaurants and sodas plus a small grocery store and pharmacy. A soda is a small Costa Rican family run restaurant with fresh home cooked food at reasonable prices. About 15 minutes away is Playas del Coco. In Coco, there are many restaurants, bars, shops, casinos, banks, and four grocery stores.
Space
From the moment you step into Casa Margarita it overwhelms you with the beauty of the Nicaraguan hand painted floor tiles, wooden doors and windows. You are transformed by the attention to detail of the home which is unlike any other home built in Hermosa Heights, a gated community in Playa Hermosa, located 20 minutes from Liberia Airport. There is a salt water infinity pool and an additional cold tub for relaxing. An outdoor shower and bathroom with a garden, and a large travertine tile outdoor area that has amazing 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean. Inside the home, we have three bedrooms which all have private decorative wooden entrances, two and a half bathrooms and two separate Casita’s for additional privacy. The first Casita has two queen size beds, a private bathroom and a wet bar. As you step outside of the first Casita there is an outdoor grill area with a refrigerator, wet bar and grill, a sectional sofa for relaxing in the shade and a table that seats eight. The second casita has one queen size bed and private bathroom with sweeping views of the ocean.

Beautiful home! Looks even better in person. Communication with Zindis was so amazing and they helped us with everything we could need. They helped us check in and were super responsive with any issues we had. Will be coming back and staying here!

The house is amazing. The pool and the view cannot be beat. When we visited there was shade by the pool until about 9am then sun all afternoon, be sure to bring sunblock. The hill to the house was hard the first time but having 4wd/awd really helped and it got easier every time. Check in and response time from the concierge was great. We elected to have a chef cook us dinner and it was wonderful: the food was great, chef was nice, and no dishes. Lots of space in the living room for our party of 9. Was nice to have the Casita’s as separate space for some and extra bathrooms. The air-conditioning was perfect.

We absolutely loved Casa Margarita. The house itself was gorgeous and the views were absolutely outstanding. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and we also took advantage of the outdoor grilling area. The pool was so refreshing. It would have been even better if there was an umbrella near the shallow end for a reprieve from the sun. The house was super clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment (not seasonings), there were plenty of towels. The rest of the house seemed a bit bare – we would have loved to see some playing cards, board games or books. We loved the Hermosa Heights neighborhood and all the other beautiful homes on the hillside. Unfortunately during our stay both of our kids had painful swimmer’s ear infections from the hot springs near the Arenal volcano, but we couldn’t have imagined a better place to be stuck at home. The views out almost every window never got old and we loved the iguanas, birds and coatis that regularly visited us

The view alone is worth the price. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The pictures don’t do the place justice! Plenty of towels for everyone to bathe and use the pool, good hair dryers and appliances in kitchen. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable and clean. Thank you to the Hermosa Heights security team for always making sure we were safe!
