Although its location makes Playa Hermosa feel somewhat isolated, the small but well-developed town offers many amenities. Playa Hermosa, which translates to Beautiful Beach, is located in northern Guanacaste Province. Keep in mind that Costa Rica has several beaches named Playa Hermosa, including near Jaco, Santa Teresa, and Uvita, but the one where this lovely home is located is in Guanacaste. The Liberia International is the closest airport, at about 30 minutes away.

Inside the gated community of Monte Bello this home enjoys the security and high quality infrastructure as well as unmatched ocean views across Hermosa Bay and the Peninsula Papagayo beyond. A short walk/drive to the Beach as well as great local restaurants and shopping and just minutes to the full service town of Playas del Coco and the Liberia Airport.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Location was amazing. Rebeca at Zindis was wonderful. They were very attentive and helpful with local suggestions. House looked better in person than in the pictures!

Wonderful spot right near Playa Hermosa. House was a like sanctuary with an everyday pool swim & cocktails at sunset very quiet gated and safe neighborhood. We were there in early June during the slower travel / rainy season. We used the grill & stovetop to cook every meal, everything worked perfectly. There is a smaller close market with friendly staff that could be walkable but I would recommend a vehicle. We drove over to the Auto Mercado a much larger grocery store located in Coco about a 15-18 minute drive. We purchased some ribeye steaks that were remarkably good. Had all the supplies for cooking. Definitely recommend Casa Plumnelly, Rebeca was a wonderful host from Zindis Vacation Rentals
