Neighborhood
Although its location may make the Blue Flag village of Playa Hermosa feel somewhat isolated, the small but well-developed town offers many amenities. Playa Hermosa, which translates to Beautiful Beach, is located in northern Guanacaste Province. Keep in mind that Costa Rica has several beaches named Playa Hermosa, including near Jaco, Santa Teresa, and Uvita, but the one where this lovely home is located is in Guanacaste. The Liberia International is the closest airport, at about 30 minutes away.

The BBQ grill, located poolside along with a well-appointed outdoor dining set allow you to enjoy the best of dining alfresco, Should you wish to hire someone to prepare local delicacies in the gourmet kitchen or eat out at one of the many excellent restaurants in town or on the beach, feel free to contact our in-house concierge to assist with your culinary wishes.
Overlooking the pristine Blue Flag beach of Playa Hermosa and the Four Seasons, spectacular walls of glass showcase the panoramic ocean views from every room of this fully furnished 4 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom 4,000 square foot modern home that features a unique design and flow that allows the light and ocean breezes to easily permeate throughout. Soak up the sun and lounge by the infinity edge pool in one of two large ocean view terraces. Close to local restaurants, grocery shopping and the beach in Playa Hermosa. Just 20 minutes to the Liberia International Airport. Absolutely no smoking and no pets. Wireless internet. Housekeeping available for a daily fee.
A car is needed. Although close to town, both the road to the property is steep as is the driveway. While spectacular, this lovely home would not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children as driveway is steep and there are steps to main area of home.

From the beginning of our completed reservation, Javi was most helfpful in providing information on the area and local points of interest as well as activities for the entire family. Javi helped us arrange airport transport and car rentals for us during our visit. Once we arrived at the local office, our house manager was quite attentive and very responsive when we had a question or request. We had a very pleasant stay, the house was situated in a great location with a beautiful view of the Bay of Papagayo. There were plenty of great places to eat close to Playa Hermosa and the Auto Mercado in El Coco had plenty of selection available for some good home cooked meals. Outstanding experience. I highly recommend Zindi’s listings!

We had a fantastic time renting this home. It was exactly as described. Views are amazing and the home isn’t fantastic condition. There is only parking for two cars and one of the parking spaces is extremely steep. I strongly recommend renting a car with four-wheel-drive and being very careful when parking in the upper parking space to not turn the vehicle sideways. The host was amazing before and during our stay and I would highly recommend staying at this home.
