This top-floor 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo sleeps 6 comfortably, featuring a king in the master, queen in the second bedroom, and two twins (convertible to a king) in the third.
Neighborhood
The Neighborhood: Playa Hermosa is a small village with one of the safest and most calm beaches in Costa Rica. There you will find and ample amount of restaurants and sodas plus a small grocery store and pharmacy. A soda is a small Costa Rican family run restaurant with fresh home cooked food at reasonable prices. About 15 minutes away is Playas del Coco. In Coco, there are many restaurants, bars, shops, casinos, banks, and four grocery stores.
Space
Sol y Mar is the only condo development directly on the beach in beautiful Playa Hermosa. With beautiful architecture, manicured grounds and lush landscaping, it’s truly an oasis in the middle of paradise. There are only 11 units. Our unit is in the rear building on the top floor. This affords us the highest levels of both privacy and security.
Our condo is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit that sleeps 6. There is a king bed in master bedroom. Queen bed in the second bedroom and two twin beds in the third bedroom that can be converted in a King. Gourmet kitchen, well stocked with all the cooking essentials. Spacious living room with plenty of seating. The dining table inside seats 6.
There is a screened in patio off of the master bedroom, which can also be accessed from the main living area. This is a great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee/tea or an evening cocktail in a “bug free” outside area.
Located just off of the main living areas is an expansive balcony, with plenty of seating to just relax, read a book or dine al fresco. Enjoy a peek a boo view of the beach and ocean while grilling at our recently renovated outdoor kitchen. Don’t want to eat in? No problem, since there are many fabulous choices within a 5 minute walk. Just walk downstairs, past the beautiful pool and onto the beach. Turn right on the path and you’ll soon be enjoying a great meal at one of our local favorite restaurants. There are many!

We had a wonderful trip and staying here was one of our favorite parts! We would walk right out to the beach every morning and go for a run, we enjoyed the water toys/floats available, and it felt like lounging in luxury while we relaxed on the balcony.

Sol y Mar 4A did not disappoint! The condo exceeded our expectations. There were ample beach amenities, every kitchen item you could need, ample patio seating, bedroom spaces and bathroom spaces were fabulous! Only downfall is that there are dogs in the area that barked and kept us up multiple times throughout the night. The pool area was quiet and the location to the beach can’t be beat. Zindis was helpful with providing transportation to and from various locations. Highly recommend!

We passed by this condo on our previous visit to Playa Hermosa. we thought that the location would be perfect for a trip with our older parents. This place is located right on the ocean. The place was very well equipped with quality accommodations. Especially the kitchen has all the tools you need for cooking. Has fluffy towels and quality linens. Folding chairs for watching sunset and swimming gear for water activities were more than enough. Our parents from South Korea love Costa Rica now. The stay here was very relaxing and peaceful. House manager Gus was excellent. We will stay here again.
