Neighborhood

Although its location makes Playa Hermosa feel somewhat isolated, the small but well-developed town offers many amenities. Playa Hermosa, which translates to Beautiful Beach, is located in northern Guanacaste Province. Keep in mind that Costa Rica has several beaches named Playa Hermosa, including near Jaco, Santa Teresa, and Uvita, but the one where this lovely home is located is in Guanacaste. The Liberia International is the closest airport, at about 30 minutes away.

Stepping into this amazing home, you find yourself in living spaces accented with cathedral ceilings, made more magical by tall windows and doors which allow the fresh sea air to flow through the home, artfully blending the outside space with the home interior. A large, fully equipped kitchen is centrally located and convenient for meal preparation and dining. Should you wish to hire someone to prepare local delicacies in the gourmet kitchen or eat out at one of the many excellent restaurants in town or on the beach, feel free to contact our Adventures desk to assist with your culinary wishes and activities in the area. The villa has 5 comfortable, elegant bedrooms accommodating up to 14 guests. The two master bedrooms are tastefully appointed with king sized beds, walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms complete with showers, spa-tubs and dual vanities. Private, spacious balconies adorn three of the bedrooms and will allow you to start your morning enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the day break over the Pacific, or finish the day watching the sun dip down below the horizon, providing you with an amazing sunset that our Guanacaste area is famous for. Guanacaste is a famous, worldwide area with a variety of activities, wildlife and biodiversity. Enjoy a calm walk on one of our Blue Flag beaches or for more adrenaline enjoy one of the many zip lining adventures offered as close as 20 minutes away or ones that nestled in the cloud forests of Monte Verde, an ATV tour or a sunset cruise – sounds amazing right?
